T he Olympus E-450: Everyone is an artist. An upgraded version of the E-420 compact D-SLR, the new E-450 is essentially identical to the old version. The only changes are inside the body of the device.

The new features are the three new Art Filters (Pop Art, Soft Focus and Pin Hole), the TruePic III+ processor and the improved LCD screen.

The Art Filters are a new addition from the E-3 D-SLR. The filters are Pop Art, Soft Focus and Pin Hole.

The TruePic III+ is for the first time used in a compact D-SLR. It brings image processing improvements, better contrast, slightly better noise reduction and a faster operation speed. The continuous shooting buffer has been increased to 8 RAW files (the old E-420 had 6 RAW files).

Upgraded LCD screen to a high-contrast 2.7 inch (6.9 cm) HyperCrystal II LCD with 176° viewing angle.
